CPPE Kombisorbon^® Technology

In 2013, Infilco Degremont Inc. (IDI) placed an first order for CPPE’s KOMBISORBON^® installation to be installed in the Mattabassett District’s Water Pollution Control Facity in Crowell, CT. The features of CPPE’s Mercury Removal System at the Mattabassett wastewater plant include a Kombisorbon® system with 99.99% Hg removal, and a challenging layout with a compact design which was required in order to fit the existing building. This was the first U.S. plant designed for compliance with new USEPA regulations for emissions from new fluidized bed incinerators (FBI).

The project was completed in 2015.
